Volunteer Ambassador - Do What You Love to End ALZ
Do What You Love to End ALZ is a fundraising initiative by the Alzheimer’s Association that empowers participants to turn their passions — whether hiking, crafting, golfing, or any activity they love — into opportunities to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.
Ambassador Role:
Ambassadors help spread the word and build community engagement for this mission-driven program. Responsibilities include:
- Attending monthly virtual meetings
- Registering and participating in Do What You Love to End ALZ 2026
- Delivering event materials to local businesses and community spaces
- Engaging on social media to promote the cause
- Committing to two community tabling events (e.g., farmers markets, breweries, golf outings)
- Assisting with participant engagement and outreach
- Supporting overall fundraising efforts
Time Commitment:
About 2–3 hours per month plus a 1-hour monthly Zoom meeting, for a one-year term (July - June)
Qualifications:
Ideal for individuals familiar with Google Drive or Word/Excel, and who enjoy connecting with others.
