Individual and Group Volunteers

Individual and Group Volunteers

Newton Community Farm is a small, working farm. We welcome group volunteer visits from organizations, businesses, and corporations.

To make sure your group has a great experience, we offer a fee-based service learning program. This helps cover the staff time needed to coordinate and manage the visit. Typically, we offer 2-hour volunteer shifts for up to eight people for $500 per visit for businesses, and $250 per visit for schools and non-profits.

Volunteers work on various tasks around the farm such as mulching paths with leaves, planting garlic, or tackling a big weeding project. We generally also include a short tour of the farm.

We also offer opportunities for individuals to volunteer at the farm. Visit newtoncommunityfarm.org/individual-volunteering to learn more.
