Friends Program Committee Member

The Friends of the Needham Public Library offers opportunities for volunteers to help  produce our long-running "Sunday Salon" speakers' series. Each year, we present to the public 6-8 programs at the Needham Free Public Library featuring noted authors, professors, media personalities and experts on a mix of literary, cultural and current topics. Volunteers can opt to recruit speakers, promote programs, run events and/or perform specific tasks like hospitality and greeting the public. You will join a committee of 10-12 friendly enthusiasts who rotate roles and provide mutual support. The committee is active September through June. Needham residence preferred but not required.
