The Charles River Regional Chamber’s Board of Directors has elected three new board members: Joseph Frias, Andrea LaChance, and Susanne Salerno. We congratulate all three of them and are excited for them to guide the chamber into its future.

Joseph Frias - President and CEO of North Hill,

Joseph Frias is president and CEO of North Hill, one of Massachusetts’ leading continuing care retirement communities. Since joining North Hill in 2017, he has advanced through a series of leadership roles, including director of healthcare services and executive director, before becoming CEO in 2023. A recognized leader in senior living and healthcare administration, Joe serves as chair-elect of LeadingAge Massachusetts and on the advisory board of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Needham. He holds degrees from Framingham State University and Salve Regina University and brings valuable expertise in workforce development, healthcare, and community engagement to the chamber board.

Andrea LaChance - Director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Brookline.

Andrea LaChance is director of sales and marketing for the Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Brookline. With over two decades of experience in hospitality sales and business development, she has built strong relationships across Brookline's business and nonprofit communities. A graduate of Newbury College's Hotel and Restaurant Management program, Andrea is known for connecting organizations, supporting community events, and championing the local businesses that help make Brookline a vibrant place to live and work.

Susanne Salerno - Founder and president of Salerno Consulting

Susanne Salerno is a philanthropic advisor and social impact strategist, and the founder of Salerno Consulting LLC. A champion of mission-driven organizations, she helps leaders and organizations turn purpose into measurable results — with expertise in philanthropy, CSR, and governance. Before launching her consulting practice, Susanne held several leadership roles at GBH, guiding board members and executives on philanthropic strategy and governance. She also led Foundation and Philanthropic Services at Silver Bridge and served as Director of Relationship Management at Fidelity Charitable. Susanne holds degrees from Villanova University and Tufts University and is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy. She serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee at Welcome Home.
