The N2 Innovation District is undergoing rapid physical change, with construction cranes and workers busy at sites in both Newton and Needham. But have you been wondering what, exactly, is being built on Needham Street, Wells Ave and Needham Crossing? Which businesses are moving to these new and/or newly renovated buildings? Might there be a space at one of these developments that would be just right for your company or client?
On Feb. 3, 2017 the chamber hosted a panel program looking at three projects in the N2 Innovation District that are now being developed: Founders Park at Needham Crossing; Intrum Corp’s plans 180 Wells Ave. and Crosspoint’s Newton Nexus project. We also heard from Northland Investment Corp about their conceptual ideas for its 27-acre Needham and Oak Streets project.
Representatives from each company made a brief presentation, followed by a panel discussion about why developers are choosing to invest in the N2 Innovation District. Newton TAB story is here.
