Staples to bring coworking, marketing services to N-Squared District
The Staples store on Highland Ave. in Needham is about to undergo a major renovation; adding coworking, a classroom, new print and marketing services and even a podcast studio to the gateway of the N2 Innovation District.
Staples Studio, the company’s co-working concept currently in place at its stores in Brighton, Norwood and Danvers are designed to provide a flexible work locations that can serve as a full-time office or just a workspace away from the office, all while providing access to a wide array of business services.
It's designed for entrepreneurs, small businesses, commuters or mobile sales teams. In addition to desks, meeting rooms and quite phone booths, Staples Studios will offer unlimited coffee and tea. Memberships include discounts on Staples retail products.
"The Newton-Needham Regional Chamber is already a partner at the Staples Studio in Brighton and is looking forward to the expansion into Needham," said Chamber President Greg Reibman.
“We’ve been impressed by Staples’ commitment to bringing a new innovative approach to business service to this market,” Reibman said. “We also know there’s big demand for coworking in this market. This location --in the heart of the N2 Innovation District on the Newton-Needham line off of I-95 -- fills a big void.”
"Staples’ Needham store will remain open for business during the renovations with an grand opening event projected for this November 2019," said Stacey Helbig, director of Staples Studio.
“As part of the company’s new business model, we’re seeking local partners to offer their business services to customers within the Needham Newton region,” said Helbig.
