What will it take to transform the area along I-95 in Newton and Needham into an innovation district?

Join us on June 29 when we release an economic viability plan developed by the chamber in partnership with City of Newton, the Town of Needham, area business and non-profit leaders and a team of economic development experts.

The N2 Innovation Corridor Economic Development Strategy and Marketing Plan was funded by a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration with matching funds from local businesses, non-profits and the two municipalities.

The project was guided by economic development consultant Camoin Associates. Camoin will detail a set of specific goals designed to attract and retain innovative companies, encourage entrepreneurship, create a mixed use identity and forge and maintain an innovation culture on June 29, from 8-10 a.m. at Mount Ida College.
