Meet Our Newest Chamber Board Directors

The following individuals have been appointed to the Charles River Regional Chamber’s board of directors in 2024, each bringing unique knowledge, experience, and a commitment to the chamber’s mission to support our region’s economic and cultural vitality:

Ryan Barrett
As CEO of ORAM Cybersecurity Advisors, Ryan oversees all operations of the IT support company, offering a range of managed IT services and cybersecurity consulting services to businesses in and around Boston. Barrett has worked in many different facets of IT, working as Vice President, Network Services at Business Consultant at Everynetwork, Inc. and as CIO for Jackson Construction and is a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology.




Dante Capasso
Since 2020 Dante has served as managing director of family-owned Capasso Realty. Founded in 1967, Capasso Realty is a privately-held real estate development and management firm with residential and commercial properties in Newton and Waltham. Prior to joining Capasso, Dante worked in the financial field as a business consultant/529 hybrid wholesaler for John Hancock Investments and as a financial advisor for Edward Jones. A graduate of Marist College, Dante is a proud life-long Newton resident.




Darren Farrington
Appointed executive director of the Dorothy and Charles Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown in 2020, Darren led the arts venue through COVID, a major lobby renovation and outdoor space improvements. He currently oversees all production negotiations, educational and community programming, marketing, and fundraising for the center. For ten years prior, Darren served as Executive Director of No Boundaries Youth Theater in Connecticut, which he co-founded in 2010. Working for 3 years as Administrator for the Connecticut Arts Alliance, he served as State Arts Advocacy Captain, working with Americans for the Arts to organize the arts community to speak with a unified voice, to advocate for resources in support of the arts. He also worked as an attorney in New York and Connecticut focusing on business litigation, entertainment law, commercial bankruptcy, and appeals.

Arpit Patel
Arpit left his job at Wellington Asset Management in 2018 to open neighborhood restaurant Baramor, located in Newton Centre. Arpit feels strongly that leaders in the restaurant and hospitality industry can also be leaders of positive change in the community. He actively supports nonprofit organizations by hosting events and soliciting donations for charity auctions. With his brother Ankur, Arpit opened Newton Centre wine and spirits store Oak n' Barrel in 2023. Adhering to the same give-back philosophy he follows at Baramor, Arpit strives to make a positive impact in his community through support for local organizations. Arpit is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Isenberg School of Management.


Glenn Rosengard
Glenn has worked with Eastern Bank in various capacities since 1997. He currently is the Eastern Bank Region 7 area manager in charge of six branches in Chestnut Hill/ Dedham/ Needham/ Newton/Wellesley. A graduate of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, Glenn is an active supporter of nonprofit efforts in the region and was the founder and president of the Risa S. Rosengard Foundation, a foundation that raised funds for 17 years to provide grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity organizations for programs to assist families coping with the devastating effects from life-threatening illness, or bereavement after the loss of a loved one. Glenn was born and raised in Newton and he and his family reside in Needham.
