The Newton-Needham Regional Chamber is pleased to announce the addition of Daniel Elias and Elizabeth Grimes, Esq. to its Board of Directors effective Sept. 20.

Elias is currently executive director of the New Art Center in Newtonville, a nonprofit organization dedicated to artistic creation and education and brings to the board 35 years of experience in the arts and cultural institution world. Elias has been involved in professional arts education at the Peabody Essex Museum and Harvard University; hosted 60 programs on fine and decorative art for PBS’s Antiques Roadshow, and founded a gallery that was awarded for excellence in programming in contemporary art. An award-winning writer on museum strategy, Dan is also a sought-after key note speaker on arts and contemporary culture. With over 80 nonprofit organizations as chamber members, Dan brings an important perspective to the board as the chamber strives to meet the needs of this very important membership segment.
