Chamber welcomes three new directors
Bruce A. Gold, CPA, MBA, MST served for 30 years as managing partner of his Newton based CPA practice, Gold & Goldberg, LLP before becoming a principal at Abrams Little-Gill Loberfeld PC in 2010 upon the retirement of his partner, Leonard J. Goldberg. Bruce’s commitment to Newton’s civic and business community includes 14 years on the City of
Newton Economic Development Commission, chair of the Newton Centre Subcommittee and former treasurer of the Newton Schools Foundation. Locally, Bruce has also served as past president of the Temple Emanuel Newton Brotherhood as well as a former treasurer and trustee of Temple Emanuel.
Kurt P. Ochalla, MCR LSCR joins our board after playing an instrumental role in the chamber’s launch of the N2 Innovation District. As Senior Director, Global Real Estate at TripAdvisor and with an extensive career in all facets of corporate real estate, he brings with him a deep knowledge of the challenges and potential facing the Newton-Needham region as we look to build a suburban hub of companies that foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Kurt is on the Board of Assessors for the Town of Needham and is a Board of Director and Membership Committee Chair of CoreNet Global, a global association for corporate real estate.
John Spino, Esq. will bring his 17 years of expertise in real estate and business law to the chamber. John is a founding partner of the law firm of Dwyer, Ruggieri, Spino & Goncalves, LLC in Newton Corner.
