The Douglass Ridley School opens its doors this September, a Reggio Emilia-inspired K-6 school at Temple Israel in Longwood, named for Frederick Douglass and Florida Ruffin Ridley. Every family pays based on what they can afford, which means the financial engine behind this school matters as much as anything happening in the classroom.

That's where you come in. We're expanding our board and specifically looking for people who understand finance, business, or wealth management. Fair warning: this isn't a board that meets four times a year and signs off on a budget. We're a founding-year working board, which means you'll actually be building alongside us, not just reviewing what's already been decided.
