Walker Wishes events and activities are underway! Your participation supports children between the ages of 3 and 14 who are served by Walker’s educational, residential, and community-based programs. Walker is a Needham-based nonprofit organization providing therapeutic and educational programs for children, youth, and families facing mental health, behavioral, social-emotional, and learning challenges.

Join us in spreading cheer through our Holiday Toy Drive, Holiday Helper Volunteer Activities and Sponsorship!

Holiday Toy Drive

Community groups, businesses, and individuals can host a donation bin or sponsor wishes, collect toys at their holiday gatherings, or shop for gifts to donate new, unwrapped toys for children ages 3-14. Toy drop-offs are scheduled by appointment only on Thursday, December 12th or Friday, December 13th. Thank you for your understanding! Gifts can also be purchased and shipped through our Target Wishlist.

Holiday Helper Volunteers

Between December 13th and 19th, corporate groups, organizations, and individuals can assist with unboxing, toy inventory, sorting, and wrapping gifts. All volunteers must register ahead of their event.

Available Volunteer Time Slots:

• Toy Inventory - December 16th 9am-10:30am, 11am-12:30pm. or 2pm-3:30pm
• Toy Sorting - December 17th 9am-10:30am or 11am-12:30pm
• Toy Wrapping - December 19th 5pm-7:30pm
