WHY COME TO THIS FAIR?

Come take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet in-person with UMass Amherst students without having to travel all the way to Amherst. This event is specifically scheduled for the last full week of our student's winter break. Since so many of our students live in the eastern part of the state, this location at the Mount Ida Campus in Newton is very appealing to our students. Additionally, all UMass Amherst students have the opportunity to request housing on the Mount Ida Campus over the summer or during the semester to provide them the proximity to a Boston area employer work location.

AGENDA

1:30 pm – Employer check in and booth set-up begins at the Health, Wellness and Recreation Center on the Mount Ida Campus
2:00pm – Fair begins
5:00pm – Fair ends, pack up and departure begins

COST

Registration fee includes a table for up to 2 company representatives, parking, and advertising of the event to students. Registration fee for for-profit organizations is $150. Registration fee for non-profit and government is $75. 

Registration is limited to 60 organizations. To ensure the appeal to a wide range of students, our goal is to have many types of employers in attendance. We will use a wait-list process to assign any open tables as we near the date of the event.

In the event we need to reschedule this fair, we will notify you as soon as possible. Please proactively put a hold on your calendar for the snow date in the event we need to reschedule. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide refunds or grant credits for future events since our career fair costs are fixed. Thank you for your understanding.
