The West Suburban YMCA is a charitable non-profit organization that has been a fixture in the Newton community for over 140 years. We are excited to have opened a second full-service Y facility to serve our community, located at 135 Wells Ave. The Wells Ave Y is a hub of youth recreation and health and fitness for all. The 61,000 square foot facility features: four multi-purpose courts for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, three group exercise studios, state-of-the-art strength and cardiovascular equipment lines, newly renovated locker rooms, Y Work Lounge, and a four lane 25-yard lap pool. Members of the WSYMCA can use their membership card to access both branches (Church Street and Wells Ave). The Y is committed to strengthening the foundations of the community by supporting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility for all.
