About

Spoonfuls, New England’s largest food recovery organization, delivers food with purpose. We keep good food from going to waste. And through food recovery and distribution, education, and advocacy, we work to address the health, environmental, and economic impact that wasted food has on people and the planet.

Each week, Spoonfuls makes scheduled pick-ups from 90+ food retailers and delivers, same day, to nearly 200 community organizations serving people facing food insecurity - from pantries and meal programs, to shelters, senior centers, crisis and recovery programs, afterschool programs, and more. To date, we have recovered and distributed more than 30 million pounds of food - enough for 24 million meals - across Greater Boston, MetroWest, Worcester County, and Hampden County!
