Dance Currents is committed to:

• strengthen and develop the link between past, present and future dance, by preserving the role of historical work in the dance lexicon; 
• present the art of dance as vital to the health and culture of a thriving community
• collaborate with artists of different disciplines in order to expand the boundaries of the field and appeal to the broadest community, and
• participate in fundraising events that benefit the entire community
