About
Artbarn Community Theater is a nonprofit performing arts program serving youth from preschool through high school. We empower young people by engaging them fully in the creative process—on stage and behind the scenes. Our actors develop skills in acting, singing, and dancing, while also contributing to story development, script creation, and the design and construction of scenery, props, and costumes. Our High School Internship Program offers alumni meaningful leadership and mentorship opportunities as they earn community service hours.
At Artbarn, theater arts training is uniquely integrated with social-emotional development. We prioritize each actor’s individual experience and cultivate a culture of collaboration within every ensemble. When young people feel supported enough to take creative risks, they grow. The confidence they gain—and the pride they feel in sharing their work with an audience—extends far beyond the stage.
Artbarn stands apart as a performing arts program dedicated to nurturing creativity, social confidence, and a strong sense of self within a supportive community.
Fostering creativity, self-esteem, and social confidence through the performing arts, Artbarn Community Theater is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) youth performing arts organization.
