Mike’s Mobile Laundry is seeking a Laundry Processor to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently washing, drying, folding, and packaging laundry orders while following customer preferences and maintaining high-quality standards. The Laundry Processor plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by handling each order with care, attention to detail, and efficiency.

This position offers an opportunity for increased earnings through a bonus structure. After the training period, Laundry Processors can earn additional pay based on the average pounds of laundry they process above the minimum processing requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process laundry orders from start to finish, including washing, drying, folding, and packaging for delivery or customer pickup.
• Follow specific customer preferences as detailed in their order instructions.
• Ensure laundry is handled with care and processed efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily order volume and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following standard operating procedures.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels for detergents, fabric softeners, and other laundry supplies.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• No prior laundry processing experience required—training will be provided.
• Ability to read and follow customer instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support fellow team members.

Key Competencies

• Ability to safely operate commercial laundry equipment.
• Comfort using basic computer/tablet functions to manage order tracking.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow procedures consistently.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order completion.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Ability to lift and carry laundry bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and handling repetitive tasks in a laundry facility setting.
