The Annual Institute Dinner has become Good Shepherd’s signature community-wide event, bringing people together around topics related to serious advancing illness, caregiving, and grief. Each year, we feature a world-renowned keynote speaker whose work inspires meaningful conversations about understanding, equity, quality, and compassionate care. At its heart, the Dinner is a reminder that community is where we find strength, connection, and the capacity to heal.

This year, we are excited to be joined by Dr. Katherine Gergen Barnett, family medicine physician, nationally recognized health equity leader, and trusted voice on the future of American health care, for a powerful and reflective talk on what hospice teaches us about caring for one another when it matters most.
