Wellesley Symphony Orchestra Concert, "Remembrance"

Event

The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra presents "Remembrance" on Sunday, November 2, 2:00 PM. The program consists of two beloved pieces by Tchaikovsky - Capriccio Italien and Piano Concerto no. 1, Taige Wang, piano. Taige has already been named a Young Steinway Artist at the age of 15. In between the two Tchaikovsky composition, we will perform William Grant Still's Symphony No. 3, "The Sunday Symphony". Still, often called the "dean of African American composers", was a devout man, which is illustrated in this symphony.
