The Village Bank Helps Sponsor Annual Holiday Gift Drive in Newton
The Village Bank has partnered with the Newton Department of Health and Human Services to sponsor the City’s annual Holiday Gift Drive. This year marks the 16th year of the Bank sponsoring the event, which looks to bring holiday joy to local children.
The Bank will be collecting new and unwrapped gifts between November 13 – December 13 and invites its customers, neighbors, and members of the Newton community to drop off donations to any Newton branch of The Village Bank. Gifts should be for children ages newborn to 10 and may include age-appropriate toys, games, electronics, and sporting goods. Gift cards from local merchants are also appreciated.
“Thanks to our neighbor’s generosity and the amazing partnerships with our incredible community providers, we have been able to continue our now 16-year-long tradition of delivering gifts and holiday cheer to local families,” said Joseph A. De Vito, president, and CEO. “The Village Bank is proud to be able to continue to support our neighbors while spreading some holiday magic.
The Village Bank, chartered by the state in 1910, has eight full-service offices in Newton and Wayland with a new office coming soon to Waltham and a Village Loan Center in Upper Falls.
