Spring Business Breakfast

Description

The Spring Business Breakfast is one of the chamber's two signature annual breakfasts — bringing together business owners, nonprofit executives, and community decision-makers from across Newton, Needham, Watertown, Wellesley, Brookline and our broader region. 

This year's keynote speaker is Jeff Taylor, a serial entrepreneur best known as the founder of Monster.com — one of the earliest internet companies that transformed how people search for jobs.

Thirty years later, Jeff says the system is broken — flooded with applications, driven by keyword matching, and disconnected from what actually makes a great hire. As Founder and CEO of Boomband, he's building the replacement: an AI-native talent marketplace that ditches the static resume in favor of dynamic "Dossiers" designed to put human discovery back at the center of hiring.

Workforce development and hiring is one of the primary challenges facing our region's businesses.  This is your chance to hear from an entrepreneur who has spent thirty years at the forefront of how businesses and talent find each other — and is already leading the way forward. It's a conversation every business owner, HR professional, and community leader in our region should be part of.

Coffee and networking begin at 7 a.m., with the program starting at 8 a.m.
