Our popular annual Women in Government event moves to the stunning

 Charles River Country Club. Following light breakfast and time for networking, we'll hear from Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller and Needham Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick in a fireside chat moderated by NBC10's Priscilla Casper.

Join us as these two local leaders reflect on their years of service, and enjoy a morning filled with conversation and connections. 

  • Needham Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick will step down in July after nearly 35 years with the town, including 23 years as Town Manager.
  • Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller will conclude her eighth year as the city’s chief executive in December, following eight years as a Newton City Councilor.

We will invite our guests to reflect on the journeys that brought them to the public sector, focusing not so much on policy but also on their personal experiences, accomplishments and challenges, while also offering advice for attendees.

This event is open to everyone.
